We understand that the loss of a loved one can be a sad and stressful time. Our Waterside Room, with a view over the lake, makes a perfect setting to spend time with family and friends, to reflect and remember loved ones following the service.

Our aim is to help you with making arrangements and to make it all as hassle-free as possible. We can accommodate small and intimate gatherings through to larger wakes for up to 100 guests. Various catering options are available including a Classic Buffet at £9.95 per person, a Premium Buffet and our popular Traditional Afternoon Tea - all with unlimited tea and coffee.

We can provide:

Private Room hire available and access to all other areas of the club
5 minute drive from the Basingstoke Crematorium
Delicious freshly prepared food and and a well stocked bar
Plenty of free parking

We offer a private, secluded Lounge Area and our Waterside Suite can be hired exclusively.

If you would prefer a private appointment, please arrange to meet with Debbie who will be able to answer any questions that you may have. We are open 7 days a week and can arrange early or late viewings suitable for your arrangements.

We really enjoyed Dad's wake; the food was great and the location very pleasant. It was nice to have the separate room but be able to access the main lounge and bar.

As it happens we got the numbers spot on, also it was nice to be able to take some food home with me. It sorted my lunch for the next few days....

Perfect place for a wake - We held a funeral reception at Dummer Golf Club in March and the venue, staff and food were all perfect. The admin / management staff we dealt with were helpful and flexible, and made everything easy for us. We had about 50 - 60 people and the Waterside Suite was ideal, light and airy with the advantage of doors opening onto a patio near the pond for a bit of fresh air if needed. The food was excellent, including gluten-free options. It is close to Basingstoke Crematorium and the M3 so very convenient. Highly recommended - Janet - Leeds
